Surf lesson at Carcavelos Beach with Shell Surf School, a 90-minute session at 35 euros suitable for all levels from complete beginners to more experienced surfers, guided by certified instructors on one of the most popular and consistent surf spots on the Cascais coastline. All equipment including surfboard and wetsuit is provided, carefully selected according to your level and the day’s ocean conditions, and the lesson is conducted in small groups for individual attention, faster progression and a genuinely enjoyable experience in the water.

The session begins with a warm welcome and equipment fitting before a warm-up and beach-based theory lesson covering ocean safety, board positioning, paddling techniques and the take-off. Once in the water, certified instructors provide continuous feedback and personalised coaching to help you catch the best waves for your ability level. Whether this is your first time on a surfboard or you are looking to refine your technique, each lesson is adapted to your needs and goals. You leave the water with a better understanding of the ocean, increased confidence on your board and in all likelihood a strong desire to surf again.
