Surfboard building workshop in Lisbon with Blood Brothers, a six-session immersive experience at 1537.50 euros for anyone who wants to go beyond buying a surfboard and actually build one with their own hands from concept to completed, surf-ready board. With small groups of two to five participants, one-to-one guidance from an experienced professional shaper and all materials included, this is a rare and genuinely memorable journey into the heart of surf craftsmanship, combining traditional hand-shaping techniques with modern innovation in the way Blood Brothers has always believed surfboards should be made.

The experience moves through every stage of surfboard creation in sequence. It begins with design, working alongside your shaper to decide on the type of board you want to build and designing it using professional Shape3D software, customising outline, dimensions, volume, rocker and performance characteristics to suit your surfing style and goals.

From there you discover the materials that make every surfboard unique, including foam blanks, resins, fibreglass, pigments and specialist tools, before moving into the hands-on shaping stage where you cut, refine and sculpt your board using professional tools, learning about rails, rocker, thickness distribution and the subtle details that define a board’s performance. Fin system selection, paint and personalisation with colour, pigments and artwork follow before the final lamination stage where experienced craftsmen apply fibreglass and resin and sand and polish your board to its finished form while you observe and learn every step. Two workshop formats are available: the Standard Workshop using a CNC pre-shaped blank, and the Hand Shape Workshop starting from a raw foam blank for the full traditional shaping experience.
