No experience is necessary. This workshop is designed for beginners as well as for people with some artistic experience who want to explore an alternative and sustainable printmaking method.
Participants will design and carve their own tetrapack printing plate and produce a series of small prints to take home.
Tetrapack cartons are a great recycled material for printmaking. They are easy to cut and engrave, making them perfect for low-tech, accessible, and sustainable printmaking.
Instead of a traditional press, we will use a pasta maker as a small printing press, showing how simple kitchen tools can be adapted for printmaking.
All basic materials and tools will be provided during the workshop.
