About the workshop
Perfect for solo visitors, friends, bachelor or bachelorette parties, groups, and teambuilding events, the workshop combines practical painting skills, personal expression, and a relaxed social atmosphere.
The session begins with a practical introduction to color theory, covering light and shade, blending, and complementary tones. Using a 21×30 cm acrylic canvas, you’ll explore layering, toning, and creating visual effects that bring your ideas to life.
Next, you’ll learn the key properties of acrylics, from brush techniques, pressure, and angles to diluting with water and working with drying layers. You’ll also practice background painting, color veiling, and other techniques that help each stroke convey your vision.
Participants can choose to replicate base designs provided or create an original composition from scratch, while our instructors provide guidance and feedback to refine technique and complete each artwork.
The workshop includes a selection of sweet and savory snacks, as well as water, juice, Port wine, and coffee.
The experience takes place at Domus Arte, a concept store dedicated to workshops, art exhibitions, and Portuguese handmade crafts.
