The full moon has always been a natural moment to pause. Not as a spiritual obligation but simply as a point in time that invites you to stop moving long enough to notice what has been building. This mindful art workshop in Lisbon offers a quiet space to do exactly that, through a mindful and guided creative process that uses colour, texture and intuitive expression to explore what feels present right now, what you might be holding onto, and what you are ready to acknowledge or let go of. No artistic experience needed and no pressure to produce anything in particular.

The session moves through five gentle stages. We open with a grounding arrival to help you settle and slow down, followed by a light framing of the theme without any spiritual pressure. The guided creative process sits at the heart of the evening, giving you a simple and contained way to process emotions without needing to put them into words. There is space for optional reflection if you want it, and the session closes gently, leaving you with something made and something felt. The group is small by design, between 4 and 10 people, and all materials are included. Location is shared after booking.

I have facilitated creative sessions in hospitals, expat communities, LGBTQIA+ spaces and outdoor mindful art settings. I work in English, Arabic and French and create inclusive, welcoming spaces for people from all backgrounds.

FAQ

Aren’t these workshops just art therapy sessions ?

This is one of the most common questions I get, and it’s such an important one to clarify. While my background in clinical psychology and art therapy deeply informs how I hold space, our workshops are NOT clinical sessions. They are intentionally designed as gentle, creative spaces where people can explore, reflect, and express without the pressure of “fixing” or being analyzed. It’s about presence, not prescriptions. It’s about self-connection, not diagnosis. It’s about creative freedom, not "fixing". You are not broken!

Will I have to explain my art to others?

This is one of the biggest myths I come across. People worry that art means exposure, that they’ll be asked to explain or reveal things they’re not ready to share. Here’s the truth: ✨ You’re always invited to reflect, but never required to explain. ✨ What you make is yours. You don’t owe anyone meaning. ✨ The process is the point, not the performance. Mindful art is about inner exploration, not external validation. It’s about building emotional hygiene through presence, not pressure. You’re welcome to speak. Or not. Either way, your experience is valid.

Will I feel out of place if I’m not good at art?

"I let go of good. I create to feel, not to impress, and that’s more than enough." You don’t need to be an artist to express your truth. You only need a moment and something to hold it. Come as you are. The page will meet you there.

    Olá! I’m Aida
I’m the founder of Fluid Art & Wellness, a creative space based in Lisbon, Portugal, where I bring together my passion for art, expression, and meaningful connection. My approach is eclectic, drawing from a wide range of disciplines to offer enriching, experiential sessions that invite you to slow down, explore, and create with intention.
With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, my background bridges academic training and hands-on practice. I’m certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mhGAP: Psychological Primary Care, and Feng Shui-based face reading. My training in Art Therapy and Community Art was completed at Metàfora in Spain, where I studied under a psychodynamic, relational approach , a foundation that continues to shape the way I hold space for creative exploration.
Over the years, I’ve facilitated art-based experiences in many different contexts, including hospitals, international expat circles, LGBTQIA+ communities, and outdoor mindful art sessions in nature. I love working with a range of materials like acrylics, watercolors, clay, collage, and mixed media, adapting each session to meet the moment and the people in the room.
Before stepping fully into this path, I spent over 13 years in the corporate world, which now informs my creative group mentoring and team-focused sessions. I enjoy blending my organizational experience with my creative practice to offer workshops that feel both grounded and expansive.
Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, I create inclusive, welcoming spaces for people from all backgrounds. Whether you’re based in Lisbon or just visiting, I’d love to invite you to join me in a creative experience that’s fluid, freeing, and uniquely yours.
    Let’s create something beautiful together.
