FAQ's
Participants must be 18 or older to taste the wines, though younger guests are welcome to join the tour. The estate’s facilities are accessible, and we can accommodate groups, private sessions, and English- or Portuguese-language tours on request.
Each tasting includes a guided tour of the winery and amphora cellar, an introduction to the amphora fermentation process, and a curated tasting of several estate-produced wines paired with local cheeses, cured meats, and olive oil from the estate.
Our wines are produced using traditional talhas (clay amphorae), following ancient Alentejan methods. This process gives the wines their distinct earthy aroma, depth, and natural character—connecting visitors to over two millennia of winemaking tradition.
Besides the knowledge and experience, you will be able to buy the wines you will be tasting.
