Parkour flow workshop in Carcavelos at Pinhal do Junqueiro, an outdoor session for children and young people aged 8 and over designed to introduce parkour safely, progressively and adapted to every level. Led by Professor Daniel Arraia and Professor Afonso Neves from Parkour WAY, a project that has been teaching parkour in Lisbon since 2014, this session focuses on the basics of movement with a strong emphasis on safety, fluidity and the connection between movements that gives parkour its distinctive flow. A great opportunity to train, improve and connect with other young people who love moving through the world the way parkour teaches you to.
The session follows three clear objectives: learning the fundamental movements with total focus on safety, developing technique with special attention to fluidity and the smooth linking of movements, and building community among children and young people who enjoy training and having fun together. The location at Pinhal do Junqueiro in Carcavelos is easy to access with simple parking, and sits close enough to the beach for anyone who wants to make an afternoon of it afterwards.
