The Parkour WAY project has been promoting and teaching Parkour in Lisbon since 2014, offering progressive, safe and above all fun training for everyone of all ages. The project has 7 partnerships in the Greater Lisbon area, making Parkour accessible anywhere.
No. These classes are designed both for those who want to learn the backflip from scratch and for those who already have some experience and want to gain more technique, confidence and control. Or simply to impress friends.
Yes. That's precisely the goal. We'll start with the basics and progress gradually, with exercises adapted to each student's level.
Yes. Safety is a priority. Classes take place in the gym, with access to safety equipment and specific progressions to learn the movement step by step, with constant supervision from the instructor.
The workshop is designed for 6 classes. However, each person progresses at their own pace. Some students manage the movement earlier, while others need more time to gain strength, technique or confidence, and there will be no problem doing one or two extra classes.
It's not possible to guarantee that for everyone, because it depends on various factors, such as physical condition, coordination, commitment, consistency and confidence. What is guaranteed is that you will train seriously, safely and with guidance, and leave with much more foundation to achieve it.
We'll work through progressions, training stations and direct help from the coach. The idea is to build the movement in parts, repeat a lot and gain confidence at each stage.
Yes, depending on the level and progress of each student. There may be space to explore variations like side flip, wall flip or bar backflip.
Comfortable sportswear and trainers with good, clean grip, Water bottle. We'll handle the rest in training 😎
The main focus will be the backflip, but as these sessions are part of a parkour group class, there will also be contact with important foundations of the discipline.
Normal. Almost everyone starts with some fear. That's exactly why the work is progressive. The goal isn't to throw anyone into the air by force—it's to build real confidence, step by step.
