Painting and drinks workshop in Almada at Homie Academy for anyone who has never explored their artistic side and wants to experiment with different painting techniques in a relaxed, fun and genuinely pressure-free environment. This session introduces you to gouache, acrylic and watercolour, covers basic techniques for different effects, textures and colour mixing, and then sets everyone a creative challenge and lets them paint freely with a drink in hand. All materials and a drink, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, are included. No prior experience needed, just the desire to try something new.

The session opens with an explanation of the materials and some basic techniques across the three media before the creative challenge is launched and everyone begins painting freely in their own direction. The relaxed and social atmosphere makes this as much about enjoying the moment as it is about the painting itself, with practical tips for colour mixing and creating harmonious compositions woven in throughout. Every participant leaves with the pieces they made and enough inspiration to keep painting at home.

Our workshops are built around the pleasure of making something together, sharing knowledge and leaving with skills and memories that last beyond the session itself.
