Italian pasta workshop in Almada at Homie Academy for anyone who has always wanted to learn to make fresh pasta at home the way it is done in Italy, using simple ingredients and traditional techniques in a practical, delicious and genuinely relaxed session. From making and resting the dough through preparing Italian sauces and fillings to cutting, cooking and plating, the session covers the full fresh pasta process and closes with everyone sitting down together to eat everything that was made. All ingredients, the meal, drinks, recipes and apron included. No prior cooking experience needed.

The session opens with an introduction to Italian gastronomy before moving into the hands-on work: preparing the dough and setting it to rest, making Italian sauces and fillings, then cutting and cooking the pasta to the perfect point before plating and sharing the meal together. Along the way you learn the essential ingredients and proportions for fresh Italian pasta, kneading, rolling and cutting techniques, the different pasta types and when to use each one, and practical tips for cooking and serving pasta at its best. The recipes go home with you for everything that was made.
