No. This experience is designed especially for beginners. Your instructor will guide you through the basics of wheel throwing, including how to centre the clay, shape it, and create your first ceramic pieces.
You'll create one or more small bowls on the potter's wheel while learning the essential techniques of wheel throwing. Every piece is unique and reflects your own creative process.
Yes. You can either take your unfired pieces home or leave them at the studio to be professionally fired in our ceramic kiln. Kiln firing is included in the experience fee. If you would like your finished work shipped to you after firing, this can be arranged for an additional cost.
The experience includes all clay, tools, materials, expert instruction, and kiln firing of your ceramic pieces if you choose to leave them at the studio.
Yes they are, but a paying adult must accompany them.
