A taste of Portugal, shared from our home with love.
Olá! We’re Jorge and Isabel, a couple from Porto with a passion for Portuguese food, good wine and the simple pleasure of bringing people together.
At Final Touch, we believe that the best way to discover a culture is through its food — and that the most memorable meals are the ones shared with others. That’s why we open the doors of our home and welcome guests into our little world, where traditional recipes, family stories and genuine hospitality come together around the table.
Our home is a cosy apartment in Porto, with a beautiful terrace full of plants where we host our cooking experiences. It’s a relaxed, familiar space where you can feel at home, get your hands involved in preparing Portuguese dishes, or simply enjoy watching, tasting and discovering at your own pace.
From traditional Portuguese meals to our much-loved Pastéis de Nata, we love sharing the flavours we grew up with, the ingredients we cherish and the little secrets that make Portuguese cooking so special. But for us, it’s never just about the recipes. It’s about the conversations, the laughter, the wine poured around the table and the connections that happen when people come together over good food.
We’re not here simply to teach you how to cook. We want to share a little piece of our everyday life, our traditions and our way of welcoming people. Whether you’re an enthusiastic home cook or someone who just loves discovering new flavours, you’ll always find a place at our table.

Not at all! This experience is suitable for everyone, from passionate home cooks to complete beginners. Jorge and Isabel will welcome you into their home and guide you through the experience at your own pace. You can get involved in preparing traditional Portuguese dishes or simply relax, observe and enjoy discovering the secrets of local cuisine.
You’ll discover the flavours of traditional Portuguese cuisine using fresh, seasonal and regional ingredients. Together with Jorge and Isabel, you’ll explore how Portuguese meals are prepared and enjoy a menu inspired by local traditions. The dishes may vary depending on seasonal ingredients and availability, making each experience a little different.
Yes! Your experience includes the cooking session, lunch and food and drinks served during the meal. You’ll enjoy the dishes prepared during the experience in the company of your hosts, with good conversation and a welcoming family atmosphere. Alcoholic beverages are subject to applicable age restrictions.
If you have any dietary requirements, allergies or food preferences, we recommend contacting Jorge and Isabel just after booking. This will give your hosts the opportunity to let you know whether your needs can be accommodated and discuss any adjustments in advance.
The experience takes place on Jorge and Isabel’s terrace in Porto, offering a relaxed setting to discover Portuguese food and culture. The workshop lasts approximately 4 hours, including the cooking experience and shared lunch. Public transportation is available nearby, although private transportation is not included. The venue is stroller accessible but is not wheelchair accessible.
The workshop will take place at our home's terrace, so if it cold, warm or raining, we will be in a covered area, but exposed to the heat/cold of the season. Please bring appropriate clothing.
