Meet Jorge & Isabel
A taste of Portugal, shared from our home with love.
Olá! We’re Jorge and Isabel, a couple from Porto with a passion for Portuguese food, good wine and the simple pleasure of bringing people together.
At Final Touch, we believe that the best way to discover a culture is through its food — and that the most memorable meals are the ones shared with others. That’s why we open the doors of our home and welcome guests into our little world, where traditional recipes, family stories and genuine hospitality come together around the table.
Our home is a cosy apartment in Porto, with a beautiful terrace full of plants where we host our cooking experiences. It’s a relaxed, familiar space where you can feel at home, get your hands involved in preparing Portuguese dishes, or simply enjoy watching, tasting and discovering at your own pace.
From traditional Portuguese meals to our much-loved Pastéis de Nata, we love sharing the flavours we grew up with, the ingredients we cherish and the little secrets that make Portuguese cooking so special. But for us, it’s never just about the recipes. It’s about the conversations, the laughter, the wine poured around the table and the connections that happen when people come together over good food.
We’re not here simply to teach you how to cook. We want to share a little piece of our everyday life, our traditions and our way of welcoming people. Whether you’re an enthusiastic home cook or someone who just loves discovering new flavours, you’ll always find a place at our table.
For us, the final touch is not just an ingredient or a cooking technique — it’s the warmth, care and joy that turn a meal into a memory.
Come as a guest, leave as a friend.
We look forward to welcoming you into our home and sharing a little taste of Portugal with you.
Final Touch Porto

Yes! This is a hands-on experience, so you’ll participate in preparing the pastries rather than simply watching a demonstration. Your hosts will guide you through the different steps, from measuring the ingredients to preparing the mixture and getting the pastries ready for baking.
Yes. The experience includes the ingredients and equipment needed for the class, a tasting of your freshly baked Pastéis de Nata, and a drink of your choice: coffee, tea or Port wine, subject to applicable age restrictions.
