Hugo grew up in Portugal flying everything that flies. He spent fourteen years in the Portuguese Air Force at the controls of an F-16. Today, he is an Airbus A320 Captain with TAP Air Portugal and, on his days off, he flies tandem paragliding flights from his base in Sesimbra.
With more than 2,000 tandem flights under his belt, he flies almost every day. He knows the winds at Bicas cliff, the thermals along the Arrábida, and the soft sand of Fonte da Telha as well as most people know their own street. It’s this familiarity that makes the flight feel effortless.
Whether you’re flying for the first time, as a couple, with your family, with a brand, or with a production team — Hugo’s job is always the same: to give you an exceptionally beautiful flight, with calm and safety, and have you land with a smile.
