Claudia Valentim is an outdoor educator, storyteller, and nature-connection mentor dedicated to helping people rediscover their relationship with the natural world. Through Into The Wild Portugal, she creates immersive experiences that combine outdoor education, creativity, personal growth, and deep ecological awareness. With a background in Steiner education, therapeutic practices, storytelling, and experiential learning, Claudia has spent years guiding children, adults, educators, and community leaders through transformative journeys in nature. Her work blends bushcraft, sensory awareness, earth education, mythology, and nature-based mentoring to inspire resilience, self-discovery, and authentic human connection. Before founding Into The Wild Portugal, Claudia studied hotel management in London, worked as a freelance journalist, trained in holistic therapies, and later became involved in Waldorf education in both Portugal and Brazil. She also founded educational and artistic initiatives focused on ecology, adventure, fairy tales, and outdoor learning. Today, Claudia continues to lead retreats, yearly programs, forest school experiences, and outdoor leadership courses designed to reconnect people with the wisdom of nature and the simplicity of living more consciously and meaningfully. Her vision is rooted in the belief that nature is one of our greatest teachers and that reconnecting with the earth can create positive change both personally and collectively.
