Artisan cider workshop in Almada at Homie Academy for anyone who has always been curious about making their own cider but never known where to start. This 2.5-hour hands-on session takes you through the full fundamentals of artisan cider production, from fruit selection and ingredient combinations to fermentation techniques and the practical tips you need to start making cider at home. The session closes with a tasting and a toast together. All ingredients, materials and the recipe are included and every participant leaves with a sample to take home.

The session moves through the full production process step by step. An introduction to the world of artisan cider and the different styles that exist opens the experience before moving into a detailed explanation of fruits, sugars and the ingredients used in production. You learn the basic preparation and fermentation techniques before a full demonstration of the artisan production process, with practical tips and essential care instructions for making cider successfully at home. The final tasting and social moment brings everyone together to try what was made and raise a glass to the craft.
