Hi, I’m Anna Matos. I’m a multidisciplinary artist passionate about making creativity accessible, fun, and meaningful.
I believe everyone is creative and art should be accessible to everyone. You don’t need to be “an artist” to enjoy making things.
Over the past few years, I’ve been helping people explore their creativity through artistic experiences that combine art, well-being, and experimentation.
My workshops are designed for anyone, whether you’re just curious to try something new or you already enjoy making art. I offer a safe and relaxed space to disconnect from the daily grind, explore new techniques, and rediscover the simple joy of creating something with your own hands.
No. The workshop welcomes beginners and experienced creatives alike. Anna introduces the basic techniques and provides demonstrations and individual feedback throughout the session.
The workshop takes place at Jardim Botânico de Lisboa, a peaceful garden featuring a variety of plants, shaded pathways and natural landscapes to inspire your drawings.
Yes. Professional paper, pens, watercolours and coloured pencils are included. You're also welcome to bring your own sketchbook or drawing materials if you prefer.
You'll learn to observe and draw botanical forms, simplify complex shapes, create expressive compositions and mix watercolours to capture natural colours and textures.
You'll leave with your own botanical sketches, practical drawing and watercolour skills, and a renewed appreciation for the details of the natural world.
