SeaEO Tours is a family business that grew with the need to provide nature lovers the possibility of getting closer to Nature and connecting with wild species in their habitat. We have a strong environmental awareness for the protection and preservation of natural resources. That’s why we adopted the concept of Nature Tourism. Lisbon sightseeing tours needed a differentiated outdoor activity that could offer off-the-beaten-track boat tours. That's where our Birdwatching in the Tagus Estuary, Dolphin Watching and Seabird Watching come in. SeaEO also intends to collect sighting data for scientific research during the activities and with the help of the guests.

Yes. SeaEO Tours provides professional binoculars for participants to use during the expedition.
Depending on the season and conditions, you may observe flamingos, purple herons, ospreys, black-headed gulls and various duck species. As wildlife is unpredictable, specific sightings cannot be guaranteed.
You'll learn bird identification techniques, how to interpret bird behaviour, the ecology of migration, field observation methods and the importance of wetland conservation.
You'll leave with practical birdwatching skills, a deeper understanding of migratory birds and wetland ecosystems, and a new appreciation for the ecological importance of the Tagus Estuary.
