This is not a standard tasting. It is an intimate hosted experience where you are a guest rather than a visitor, guided by Nelson Soares through nine carefully selected wines paired with a generous spread of traditional Alentejo petiscos, in a setting where every detail has been prepared with care and the number of guests is deliberately limited to keep the atmosphere relaxed and attentive throughout.

The experience runs across approximately three hours, with an optional guided estate tour at 14:00 for those who want to begin by exploring the property and understanding the landscape and philosophy behind what they are about to taste. The tasting itself covers nine wines: three whites, three rosés and three reds, each thoughtfully selected to express the diversity and character of the Mértola region. Gastronomic petiscos made with fresh local ingredients are paired throughout, and at the end of the tasting you choose your favourite wine and enjoy a full 125ml glass at your own pace. Dietary preferences, children and special requests are all accommodated with genuine care.
