Kids self portrait painting workshop in Faro at Mini Sorrisos, a 1.5-hour creative session for children near Alameda park where your child brings a black and white photo of themselves to life with colour, imagination and artistic materials. A fun and genuinely expressive experience that encourages creativity, confidence and self-expression in a relaxed and welcoming environment. All art materials and supplies included. If you prefer to send the photo in advance, Mini Sorrisos will print it for you, and a selection of images is also available on the day.

The session gives each child the freedom to interpret their own portrait in whatever colours and style feel right to them, with no pressure to produce a realistic result and every encouragement to explore, experiment and express themselves fully. The format is simple and immediately engaging: a black and white photograph becomes the canvas, and the child’s imagination becomes the medium. By the end of the session every child leaves with a finished colourful artwork that is uniquely theirs and entirely irreplaceable.

We are Mini Sorrisos, a small indoor playground and community hub for parents and children near Alameda park in Faro. We offer kids and baby workshops, adult workshops, daily play and birthday parties in a warm and welcoming space designed for little ones and the people who love them.
