Guided tea meditation workshop in Lisbon for anyone who needs a genuine reason to slow down. This is not a tea tasting or a blending session. It is a meditative journey guided entirely by tea, using the ritual of preparation and drinking as a doorway back to presence, sensation and yourself. Rooted in Sara’s love of tea and mindful living, the session is an exploration of slowness that most people do not realise they needed until they are inside it. Everything is provided. Just show up wearing something comfortable and ready to go inward.
We begin by connecting to the origins of tea, the Camellia sinensis plant, and exploring the difference between tea and herbal infusions alongside a brief reflection on the medicine of plants. From there the session moves into a fully guided sensory meditation built around each stage of the tea ritual: listening to the water boil and be poured, watching colour unfold in the cup, feeling the warmth in your palms, breathing in the rising vapour and its aroma, and finally tasting slowly and fully while feeling the warmth travel through your body. Each step becomes a point of presence. Each sensation becomes a doorway back to the moment.

I am Sara Di Rocco and this workshop sits at the heart of everything I love: tea, slowness, presence and the quiet magic that emerges when we genuinely stop moving long enough to notice what is around us. Alongside my sourdough, kimchi, tea blending, bone broth and pasta workshops, this is the one that asks the least of you and perhaps gives the most back.
No prior experience with meditation or tea needed. Just show up as you are.
