10-class kids surf pack at Praia Grande for children aged 6 to 12 who are ready to make surfing a genuine and regular part of their outdoor life. Led by Pedro Marques, born and raised at Praia das Maças with a lifelong connection to the ocean, this monthly pack of ten two-hour sessions is the most complete surf learning programme available for children on the Sintra coast, building discipline, ocean awareness and genuine surfing ability across sustained and progressive coaching. All equipment included and the approach is always relaxed, fun and genuinely enjoyable.

Ten sessions is where surfing stops being something you tried and starts being something you actually do. The first sessions establish the foundations: beach introduction, safety rules, warm-up and essential technique on the sand, followed by water adaptation without the board and then progressive surfing with growing confidence and skill. Across the ten sessions the coaching builds deliberately on each previous lesson, introducing more specific technique, better wave reading and growing independence in the water as each child develops at their own pace. By the final sessions the difference from where they started will be unmistakable, and the habit of being in the ocean regularly will have taken hold in a way that lasts.

I am Pedro Marques, born and raised at Praia das Maças on the Sintra coast, where the mountains meet the sea. I have had a strong connection with the ocean since childhood through surfing and bodyboarding, and the main goal of my surf school is to transmit that passion to children and young people in a fun, relaxed and enthusiastic way. The ocean has given me so much and I want to share that with every student who steps into the water with me.

Open to children aged 6 to 12. All equipment included. Ten sessions of two hours each.
