I'm Pedro, borned and raized at Praia das Maças, one of the most beautiful beaches in Sintra coast with the mountains as view from the sea.
Since young age I have a strong connection with the ocean in many ways. I'm the mentor of the project surf at surfschool and the main goal is to transmit this passion for the ocean by surf and bodyboard in a fun and enthusiastic mood.

Yes, all equipment is included and adapted to your size and experience.
This surf pack is designed for children aged 6 to 12. All sessions are adapted to the children's abilities and progress, creating a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment where they can develop their surfing skills and confidence in the ocean.
The five lessons can be arranged on consecutive days or spread across separate weeks or dates, depending on your family's schedule and availability. This flexibility allows children to enjoy an intensive surfing experience or develop their skills gradually over time. Please coordinate your preferred dates with Pedro Marques Surf School.
No previous surfing experience is necessary. The pack is suitable for beginners, starting with essential safety rules, warm-up exercises, and basic techniques on the sand before progressing to water adaptation and wave catching. Each lesson builds on the previous one, helping children develop confidence and improve at their own pace.
All sessions take place at Praia Grande on the beautiful Sintra coast. Each lesson lasts two hours, giving children plenty of time to practise, learn, and enjoy the water under the guidance of Pedro Marques Surf School. Please note that sessions may depend on sea and weather conditions, with safety always coming first.
