Full day horse riding experience for kids in Alcácer do Sal at Herdade de Montalvo with Entre Amigos Equestre, a nine-hour programme from 10:00 to 19:00 for children and teenagers aged 8 to 17 who love animals, outdoor adventure and making new friends. Riding lessons adapted to each participant’s level, horse care activities, horseback games, group challenges, outdoor entertainment and a full lunch and afternoon snack are all included in a safe and welcoming environment set within the beautiful nature reserve between Alcácer do Sal and Comporta. Suitable for complete beginners and experienced riders alike.
The day is structured around the full experience of being with horses in a natural Alentejo setting, giving participants the time and space to genuinely connect with the animals, develop their riding and horse care skills and build confidence through group activities and challenges alongside other young riders. Away from screens and inside the peaceful landscapes of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve, this is exactly the kind of day that creates the lasting memories and friendships that children talk about long after the summer is over.
