Hey, I'm Captain Pedro Casanova Faro, Portugal Background "It is not the great days of fishing or tournament wins that make me love it so much, it's the small details of each day that remind me of how lucky I am. It can be the most action-filled day of White Marlin or Tuna fishing or the longest, roughest, and most uncomfortable crossing I've ever made, either way, it's my job. And I'm happy to do it. Of course, it's not all record-breaking days and tournament wins. There are certainly frustrating days but then I realize that I am doing something that I love. When we raise a double or a triple, I forget about looking up and get excited about fishing all over again." Captain Pedro holds numerous tournament awards from All Millionaire Pacific Circuit Tournaments, the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament, and the South Africa WorldChampionship – to name a few. This winter 2026, we made 2 major upgrades, in our boat; now we have a new omni sonar, and a new electric iron Min Kota; both to help us to improve fishing. Numbers from the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament indicate that boats using omni sonar can experience catch rates 60% to 84% higher than those without this powerful technology. No one would argue with the premise that omnidirectional sonar is a great fish-catching tool. Techniques Eat, sleep, and breathe fishing? So do we. Only in it for the ocean view, tan lines and sweet pics? That's cool too. Whatever your reason, we will make your fish wishes come true... The only country in Europe, where you can get ''Granders'', the record of a lifetime, is at your hands...
The main target species are Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and Bluefin Tuna. Depending on the season and sea conditions, other pelagic species may also appear during the trip.
The trip takes place offshore along the Algarve coastline, usually between 10 and 25 miles from the coast, where these powerful game fish are commonly found.
Yes, all fish caught during the Marlin and Bluefin trip must be released. This supports sustainable sport fishing and helps protect these incredible species for future generations.
Yes, children are welcome on the trip. Safety equipment, including life jackets for both children and adults, is provided to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
The trip includes fishing licences, all heavy fishing tackle, bait, experienced crew assistance, drinks including water and beer, fresh fruit, and light snacks throughout the day.
We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, non-slip shoes, and any personal medication you may need. Food and extra drinks can also be brought onboard for the 7-hour adventure.
