Not at all! This workshop is beginner-friendly and you’ll be guided step by step through preparing, filling and shaping your onigiri.
You’ll make at least three onigiri, using a variety of delicious fillings. You’ll also learn how to enjoy them with nori or lightly grill them for a crispy finish.
You’ll enjoy your handmade onigiri with homemade miso soup and three Japanese side dishes, creating a complete Japanese home-style meal.
Any extra onigiri you make during the workshop can be wrapped in traditional Japanese onigiri wrappers and taken home to enjoy later.
Just yourself and your appetite! All ingredients, equipment, aprons and gloves are provided. Wear comfortable clothes suitable for a hands-on cooking experience.
