Ricardo Marques is a craftsman and self-taught artist, founder of the Elfic Wood works project, dedicated to the art of wood carving.
His work is born from the direct relationship with matter, where each piece is carved by hand, respecting the natural rhythm of wood and revealing simple, organic and living forms.
In his workshops, he shares not only his techniques, but a sensitive approach to manual making, inviting each participant to slow down, feel and create with presence.
He guides the workshop “Initiation to the Wood Carving”, a practical experience where creativity and contact with nature meet through gesture and tool.

Sim! Este workshop foi concebido especificamente para principiantes, sem necessidade de experiência prévia em escultura em madeira.
Inclui todas as ferramentas básicas de escultura e materiais de madeira (pinho ou amieiro), bem como orientação passo a passo ao longo da sessão.
Sim, as crianças com menos de 8 anos são bem-vindas, desde que acompanhadas por um adulto durante o workshop.
O workshop pode ser realizado na praia ou na tua casa/localidade, dependendo da tua preferência e organização.
A hora de início é flexível e pode ser discutida com antecedência para melhor se adequar ao horário do grupo.
Os participantes trabalharão com madeiras de primeira qualidade, como o carvalho e a cerejeira, o que lhes permitirá experimentar diferentes texturas e técnicas de escultura.
Para além de um fantástico know-how sobre o trabalho da madeira, levarás para casa as ferramentas que produzires durante o workshop.
