Private Japanese street food workshop in Lisbon for groups of friends, families and companies who want to explore one of the most exciting and underrepresented food cultures in the world, together, by making it from scratch. Led by an experienced and dedicated chef, this hands-on Japanese street food session brings your group into the kitchen to prepare four iconic dishes from the streets and markets of Japan, building genuine connection and team spirit throughout before sitting down together to enjoy everything you made in a relaxed and convivial setting.
The session follows a clear four-part structure: a welcome and introduction to set the tone, a cooking briefing to organise the group and explain the dishes, a fully hands-on practical cooking session, and a shared meal at the end where everything comes together at the table. The menu covers four of the most beloved Japanese street food dishes: okonomiyaki, onigiri, takoyaki and dango, each one distinct in technique and flavour and genuinely surprising to make for the first time. Paired with Poças Coroa D’Ouro white and red wines alongside water, iced tea, teas and coffee throughout.

This session is available for groups of between 8 and 50 participants and we take care of every detail from chef to ingredients to setting so that all your group has to do is show up and cook.
