This 2.5-hour hands-on session covers everything from the history and curiosities behind this celebrated pastry to the practical execution of a perfect puff pastry and a velvety custard cream. All materials and ingredients included and you leave with a box of the pastéis de nata you made yourself.

The session moves through the full process step by step. A brief introduction to the history of the pastel de nata and its ingredients opens the session before moving into the recipe explanation and the hands-on execution, working through the puff pastry technique and the custard cream with guidance from the Homie Academy team throughout. The pastéis go into the oven, come out golden and caramelised, and the session closes with a tasting before everyone boxes up their creations to take home.
