Summer calls for snacks! And who doesn’t love a good snack? It’s deeply rooted in our Portuguese traditions! Let’s cook! 👩🏽‍🍳

Our mission has always been to share and keep our culinary traditions alive in a fun and engaging way, so that our Mini Chefs can learn and become the next ambassadors of our food culture!

In this workshop, Mini Chefs will learn to cook some of our most iconic snacks, and since it’s summer, what better way to complement them than with a refreshing sangria? (Of course, alcohol-free 😊)

Our workshops are much more than just cooking classes—they are immersive educational experiences where children and teenagers learn about the origins of ingredients, culinary techniques, and much more! We believe that teaching cooking practices from an early age nourishes both the body and mind, fostering food awareness.

Recommended Age: 8 years and up.

Mini Chefs Workshop Information:

Dear Parents and Family Members,
To ensure an optimal learning environment, our workshops are exclusively for participating children and teenagers. This allows them to explore, learn, and experiment independently—an essential part of their development and confidence in the kitchen.

We understand your desire to follow their progress, and we appreciate your cooperation. At the end of each workshop, there will be a special moment where children and teenagers share their culinary creations with parents and family members.

More about your Teacher Mini Chefs

    Mini Chefs

Hello, we are Carina Pinto de Brito and Ana Rodrigues! With the birth of our own children we decided to start the Mini Chefs Project, a space where children up to 17 years old can explore and experience the pleasures of cooking.

More than just transmitting technical knowledge, we share with young apprentices the stories and memories that make each recipe special. We teach that cooking is not just a skill, but a form of expression, of connection with our roots and traditions.

For us, the Mini Chefs project is not just a business, but a legacy. A legacy of love, sharing and education, which we hope to pass on to future generations. Because there is no greater pleasure than seeing a child discover the joy of cooking and eating in a healthy, creative and tasty way - a gift that they will keep for life!
