Beer tasting in Lisbon where you try eight carefully selected Portuguese craft beers, each from an independent brewery, guided by David Santos, a beer sommelier with over twelve years of experience. Set in a creative store in the heart of Lisbon and paired with petiscos throughout, this is an evening that goes well beyond tasting: you learn how to identify aromas, flavours and textures in beer, hear the stories behind each brew and come away with a genuine understanding of Portugal’s craft beer scene that most visitors and locals never get.

David walks you through eight distinct styles and brewing techniques across the session, sharing insider knowledge on the craft beer world and the independent Portuguese breweries behind each glass. The atmosphere is relaxed and convivial by design, welcoming everyone from dedicated beer enthusiasts to people who are simply curious to explore something new. Each beer is paired with petiscos, making the evening as much about Portuguese food culture as it is about the beer itself.

I am David Santos, a beer sommelier with over twelve years of experience in the craft beer world. I designed this tasting experience to give people genuine access to the independent brewing scene in Portugal, because the stories behind these beers and the people making them are as interesting as the beers themselves. This is the evening I would want to spend in Lisbon if I were visiting for the first time and wanted to understand the city through something local, specific and genuinely delicious.

No prior knowledge of beer or tasting needed. Perfect for beer enthusiasts, curious travellers and anyone who wants to spend an evening in Lisbon doing something they will actually remember.
