At OM Academy, we believe movement is more than exercise—it's a pathway to better health, balance, and wellbeing. Our mission is to create a space where body and mind work together through a diverse range of practices, including Yoga, Pilates, Fitness, Mind Spa, and Wellness experiences. Our timetable has been designed to fit around your lifestyle, with classes available throughout the day across our Boavista and Foz studios. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve flexibility, reduce stress, or simply take time for yourself, you'll find sessions suitable for every level and goal. From dynamic fitness classes and reformer Pilates to restorative yoga, Aerial Yoga, Ganban Hot Yoga, Tai Chi, and QiGong, every class is led by experienced instructors dedicated to helping you move with confidence and feel your best. Join our community, explore new ways to move, and discover a healthier, more balanced version of yourself—one class at a time.
Power Yoga is best suited to those with some yoga or fitness experience, but motivated beginners are welcome. Our instructors offer modifications and progressions so you can practice safely at your own pace.
Bring comfortable workout clothing, a yoga mat (if required by your studio), a towel, and a water bottle. For Power Hot Yoga, we recommend bringing an extra towel and staying well hydrated before and after class.
You'll leave feeling stronger, more energized, and mentally refreshed. Over time, you'll develop greater core strength, improved balance, increased flexibility, better posture, enhanced body awareness, and a deeper connection between breath and movement.
Both classes follow the same dynamic Vinyasa format. The difference is that Power Hot Yoga takes place in a heated Ganban studio with volcanic stone flooring, where the elevated temperature encourages deeper stretching, increased perspiration, and a more intense cardiovascular workout.
For noticeable improvements in strength, flexibility, and endurance, practicing 2–4 times per week is ideal. Consistency is more important than intensity, so choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle and allows for proper recovery.
